The revised French AutoRail service (formerly MotorRail) carries your car separately from you and your passengers. Normally the car goes first and you follow the next day and collect your car at destination.

Enjoy the convenience of having your own car to tour the Mediterranean resorts of Southern France, Italy and Spain, without the effort of driving there.

• Paris to Nice via Avignon. From Nice you can continue on to Italy or just enjoy the French Riviera and the beautiful scenery of Provence Maritime.
• Paris to Narbonne via Brive and Toulouse. These destinations are the gateway to Spain and the Pyrenees as well as offering easy access to Biarritz, Northern Spain and the resorts of Languedoc Roussillon.

Services run all year and French AutoRail will carry you and your car all the way by train. So if you want to take your car or motorbike to the sun, but don't want to spend hours on the road getting there, just take the train, relax and enjoy the journey!

Prices for the car vary depending on journey and booking dates, but will be around £200. But your fare as passengers will be extra. However there's the saving on fuel, tolls and probably an overnight hotel. For a couple travelling from Paris to Nice in a medium size car this will be in the region of £250 one way. Plus you and your car will arrive rested and ready to enjoy your holiday.
