The Eurostar high speed passenger train service operates from the new international rail terminal at St Pancras London. From St Pancras the Eurostar trains whisk you in comfort to the heart of Paris in just 2 hours 15 minutes. Brussels is just 1 hour 51 minutes away and your Eurostar ticket allows you to travel to any other railway station in Belgium. Lille is now only 1 hour 20 minutes and makes for a great weekend away.

Or cut 10 minutes off the journey by joining the Eurostar train at the brand new station at Ebbsfleet, just off junction 2 of the M25, and with 2500 car parking spaces. And the station at Ashford in Kent is another point where you can join the train, reducing the journey time from London by 50 minutes.

From July to September Eurostar runs direct to Avignon in southern France, with a journey time of about 6 hours. From Avignon connect with either the TGV high speed train down to the Riviera and Spain or use the excellent local SNCF Corail train services to reach your destination in France. Normally one purchase will take you all the way. Outside the summer months simply change from the Eurostar terminal at the Gare du Nord in Paris to the Gare de Lyon and access the whole of the south of France and onwards into Spain.

In the winter Eurostar runs its popular ski train to the French Alps. You sleep on board and wake up refreshed and ready for the slopes.

Eurostar works with most UK rail companies to offer through tickets to destinations throughout Europe, so often one ticket purchase will take you all the way from your home town to your destination, although you may need more than one ticket.

Visit the official Eurostar website to book at the best prices. Use their destination and route finder to timetable your journey.
