TrainsinEurope does not itself provide tickets, but operates as a portal with links which direct the user to websites where such tickets may be booked. The website is part of the Drive-Alive Holidays family of websites which are dedicated to encouraging surface travel in Europe. Drive-Alive Holidays was founded in 1998 and since then has offered a comprehensive service to motorists wishing to arrange driving holidays in Europe.
The Drive-Alive website includes information on ferries and links to all the major ferry booking websites.
We offer our own hotel booking service in partnership with booking.com with a database of thousands of hotels in Europe, all available in real-time.
We also work with Interhome, Europe's leading provider of self-catering holiday homes. Their many thousands of apartments, villas, chalets, castles and cottages can be booked through the Drive-Alive website.
